A much-needed community amenity was added to the Delaware River waterfront when the Market Street Dog Run was installed in an unused portion of Penn?s Landing under the purview of the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation (DRWC). TEND landscape, together with DRWC, engaged local residents and dog owners to solicit input on their needs. The design provides for exercise, safe enclosure and refreshment for dogs, with pleasant views, seating and shade for owners. The selected site is the home of healthy, semi-mature trees, which were a key consideration in the plan and during construction.
